Amelia Lycanthe, set to become Alpha of the main werewolf pack of the United Kingdom met William Cartwright, an American wolf who's father was the Alpha on the main werewolf back in the USA while travelling abroad. It was by chance, that while her father still had reign of the pack, she happened to meet the heir to the Alpha position on another continent. They both had to admit their secret, that they were werewolves, after they fell in love and planned to get married. Amelia admitted it first and William followed straight afterward. He moved to the UK after they were married, and soon after Amelia became Alpha after her father passed it to her as he felt he was too old. They had one son, Jacob, and two daughters, Tristan and Kira. Jacob was eightee years old when his paternal grandfather died and his parents left to the USA in order for his father to become Alpha there, his mother passing her position on to Jacob.
Jacob met Helena Watson when he was a small child and they became best friends. He didn't grow to love her until he was older, and they were both in Hogwarts. They shared their first kiss in their third year, and by their fourth their mate bond was revealed. Jacob, being of the Alpha line, broke it, feeling that they were too young and that Helena should have the chance to live her life first. They did not separate, however, and they became parents at sixteen, although their bond was not reformed until they were joined in marriage and blood after they graduated Hogwarts, Jacob finishing first before Helena returned to school to finish as well. Their son, Jace, is Jacob's heir.
After ten years of marriage, Jacob once again broke off the mate bond, wanting to give Helena a chance to experience new things now that they were older. He started a job as Groundkeeper at Hogwarts, where he met and began a romance with Mystique Vega, with whom he had another son, Charlie, after choosing her as a substitute mate. He was not in love with her, however, and just before Charlie's birth, Helena came to him. He tried to continue with Mystique, but their relationship quickly fell apart and he broke the mate bond he had forced with Mystique and returned to Helena. They are now expecting their second child together.
History: Born in Northern Ireland, Jacob was the first child of Amelia and William Cartwright. He was raised in a secluded community, where he attended the pack school with a number of other young werewolves before beginning at Hogwarts. There he made a number of friends, but his best friend continued to be Helena. He graduated school the year after their son, Jace, was born before spending a year taking care of him on his own so that Helena could return and finish her seventh year a year late. They married soon afterwards and then the small family travelled for a few months, before he became Alpha. He trained as a teacher, but was never particularly interested in remaining one, though he taught at the pack school for a decade before beginning as the Hogwarts groundskeeper.
Appearance: Dark hair and eyes, with a light tan and a tall, broad structure.
Personality: Jacob is fairly easy going and friendly, though he can be rather stubborn. He cannot stand when someone does the wrong thing, but tries to help them if it is possible rather than condemn them. He is good with children, and adores his family more than anything in the world. He is also a strong leader, but sometimes is blinded by his somewhat narrow view of the world. | |
