Family:Astoria Jade Greengrass is the second of two daughters born to Adeline and Dremar Greengrass. Her older sister, Daphne is two years older than her. Astoria married Draco Malfoy and the pair began a family who dwell at Malfoy Manor in Wiltshire and attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
History: Astoria Greengrass was born on the 16th of May, 1982 to her parents in their large Devon home. The family was a loving, though strict one and Astoria and her older sister were brought up getting almost anything that they wanted. When Astoria was eleven, she started her education at Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin house. She was present when the Battle of Hogwarts commenced, but was evacuated against her will due to being underage.
Straight out of Hogwarts, having received above average NEWT scores, Astoria went against the family grain and began training to become a Healer. Spending her time between Healer Training and her romance with Draco Malfoy, Astoria soon became a qualified Healer and began work at St Mungo's Hospital. After getting married, she was thankful that her new husband did not request that she stay at home as both of their mothers had done, and allowed her to work without complaint. Her career was put on hold, however, when she became pregnant with her first child. She remained working only part time, usually during the night, throughout her children's childhoods, though she returned to working as soon as she could despite her joy at being a mother.
Appearance: Astoria is fair skinned and dark featured. Her long, brown hair is naturally wavy, though she is not against either straightening or curling charms. She had grey eyes and strong facial features along with a slim build.
Personality: Astoria Malfoy is a traditional woman in the sense that she believes that old fashioned etiquette is a good thing to abide by. However, she is not a believer in pureblood supremacy despite having been a member of a once supremacist family. She is a generally kind hearted person, though she puts on a good façade of cool calculation when in certain social situations.
Astoria groaned as she raised her head from the soft pillow on which she slept. Of course, she would need to be rising soon, even though she had only finished her shift at St Mungo's a few hours before.
The sacrifice of being a mother and healer who refuses a nanny, I suppose, she thought as she sat up in her bed. Though their family had house elves, Astoria did not want her children to be raised by anybody other than herself and her husband. Pushing back the covers that she often thought she'd be able to get lost in, the brunette stretched her limbs before placing her feet on the floor.
Padding out of the bedroom door, she went in search of her children. It was the holiday, and as with every holiday the woman ensure that her shifts at the hospital were reversed so that she worked during the night and could spend the day with her family. "
Where is everyone?" she called as she made her way into the dining room, where only one plate setting was left out for her. Sitting down for breakfast, she once again yelled, "
hello" as she began to fill her plate with fruit and bacon.
