Aurélie Dupin

Family: Aurélie comes from an old French pureblood family that for centuries has been made up of vampires and veelas that basically controlled France with few other wizarding families. Her mother, Melanie, a born Meseur, is a full veela and her beauty immediately bewitched the current head of the Dupin clan, Castiel, a powerful vampire. Together they have created a new connection between those two families and species. Aurélie is the oldest daughter, though she has one older brother, Sebastian. Her younger siblings are not old enough to join Hogwarts, yet.

History: Growing up in France, Aurélie learned the more open-minded behaviour of her landsmen. While her mother did teach her how to behave like a proper lady, she also learned how to use her skills to defend herself, how to harm, deceive and even kill. Her father showed her how she can survive as a vampire without being found out and she sticks to that rule: only show people what you want them to know.


Appearance: Aurélie has a very pale complexion and naturally blond hair, though she sometimes changes the colour of it to black or red, whatever she feels like at that time. She has startlingly bright blue eyes that appear to be immensely cold most of the time. Aurélie is very slender, but has a female built.

Personality: Aurélie does not care much for the pureness of blood, only if a certain individual may be of use to her. She is very elegant and displays a cool, but charming facade to almost everyone, as she only truly cares for very few people. Aurélie enjoys using her veela charms to lure boys into her web before using them to her advantage, though once she falls in love with someone, she would protect them with everything she has. She is highly intelligent and quite powerful, but sometimes that can lead her to act slightly arrogant or superior.


Aurélie placed her delicate hands on the railing of the bridge and looked down into the dark abyss where she could still hear the gurgling sound of the drowning victim. Her tongue darted out to catch the little drop of blood that slipped past her lips and a soft smile played around her mouth as she tasted the man's life essence. Her blue eyes shone almost eerily in the darkness and her pale face was mostly hidden by the hood of her dark cloak which swirled around her body as she turned to make her way through the city. Paris was such a wonderful place to be, so romantic and old. Hogwarts never quite managed to have the same thrill for her, but she would make the best of it once she returned there after the holidays.
