Family: Cameron has a large family that consists of his mother and father, Michelle and Callum Taylor, and his siblings. Of his five siblings, he is the only one to have recieved a letter to Hogwarts. As the youngest, he has three older brother, Joshua, Liam and Aaron, along with two older sisters, Melissa and Nicolette.
History: On a cool winter’s night in February of the year 2000, Michelle Taylor gave birth to her last child, Cameron James. After a short stay in the hospital, he was taken home to their family’s modest appartment in central Muggle London. The family carried on fairly normally, with the children attending a public school and then some of them moving out, getting married, having children and the like. On Cameron’s eleventh birthday, however, their world was drastically changed when the youngest child on the Taylor family was announced to be magical.
Cameron excitedly prepared for his first year at the magical school, Hogwarts, buying all of his books with his parents and reading from them when he wasn’t spending time with his family. By the time he boarded the Hogwarts Express on the hidden platform at Kings Cross station, he was a bundle of nerves and excitement.
He slowly adapted to life as a wizard, making a few friends and studying hard to get good results in his classes.
Appearance: Cameron has dark hair, and light blue- almost grey- eyes. His skin is pale, though he tans nicely in the summer months and keeps in shape by running every morning. He wears plain t-shirts and trousers, shorts in the summer and button shirts and black slacks under his robes during school.
Personality: Cameron is a quiet young man, who prefers to enjoy a good book rather than socialising with new people. He is fairly easy going, but cautious of strangers and doesn’t like to bare witness to bullying. One of the rare occasions that he will show confidence is when someone who is unable to defend themselves properly is being attacked verbally or physically.
Cameron sat at the kitchen table where there was a layout of all of his favourite breakfast foods. His parents had gone all out for his birthday morning, as they did for each of their children. He was chewing on a piece of bacon when there was a knock on the front door. His mother grinned and stood, leaving through the hallway to answer it as his father smiled at him. They always treated him like royalty on his birthday, and he wondered if the knock was a surprise for him.
“
Cameron!” he heard his mother call from the front of the house. Rising from his seat, the dark haired boy walked through the apartment and to where his mother stood. Standing out in the hall was an older looking man with a long, strange coat and a tall hat. “
Hello?” Cameron said, his voice showing obvious confusion as he had never seen the visitor before in his life.
The old man smiled and said, “
Mr Taylor, I’m here to have a little chat with you and your parents, but I think it would be best if we sat down.” After the man, Cameron and his family were seated in the living room, the three Taylor’s were informed of a magical school where Cameron was being invited to attend. It took a lot of convincing for any of them to believe a word of it, and even more so for his parents to agree to his attendance, but once they did Cameron started to imagine everything that would be different from then on.
He was a wizard.
