Family: The Abhorsen family is ancient, and for the most part forgotten. They have spent thousands of years travelling from place to place in search of the most worthy person to join their family and carry on their biological family line. The members of the family are insane, focused more on anger and hate than any other emotion. Strategic and tactical, they are magically powerful and gifted in necromancy. There are eight children in total- Pandora, Scarlyt, Gaia, Themis, Cherion, Eros, and Prometheus are living and Lakhesis is deceased.

History: Gaia is the third born Abhorsen child, following her twin older sisters Pandora and Scarlyt. Her five younger siblings followed. At the age of twenty two, a year following the day when her older sisters underwent the Berserk ritual, Gaia and her younger siblings went through the vampiric transformation, though Lakhesis’ weak heart lead to her death.

The family ravaged villages for many years, where they took them for their own, and raped women so that they could bare them offspring who would later become warriors. Later, while Scarlyt and Pandora ruled, Gaia split away from her family where she lead her own armies throughout the world, never once defeated and constantly ready for another battle.

Now, she is in search of her sisters with a want to reconcile their once formidable joined force.


Appearance: Gaia has light brown eyes and fair skin. She is slim, but athletically built and of average height.

Personality: Gaia has a love for all living things, and tends to be motherly and nurturing to any person or animal who she feels needs it. She likes to spend time outdoors, listening to nothing more than the sounds created by nature itself. When in battle, however, she is as deadly and heartless as her siblings. She believes that war permits sacrifice, and her family’s survival is of the utmost importance.
