Luca Joseph Moretti Full Name:Luca Joseph Moretti
Gender:Male
Birthday: August 8th, 1987
Age: 28
Blood: Halfblood
Birth Place: London, England
Nationality: British but of Italian descent
Current Residence: London, England while on break but Hogwarts during most of year
Family: All of his family so far as he knows is deceased. Grew up in an orphanage, and when he was offered information about his birth parents he refused it. Was placed in a foster home after starting at Hogwarts, to help with expenses. They really just let him do his own thing until he was old enough to live on his own, and has lost contact with them.
History: Grew up in an orphanage, and refused any information on his real family because he was abandoned by them. When he was placed in a foster home when he started at Hogwarts, they let him do his own thing and he avoided them as much as possible. Because of that, he became self-reliant at a very young age and has remained such. Independence is one of the things he loves, and the only thing he allows to be scheduled is the classes he teaches at Hogwarts.
His school years were a bit of a mess, as Luca was a bit of a ladies man when a teenager. Flitting from relationship to relationship, never settling down was a trend to him until his last year at Hogwarts when he swore off girls. Since then, he has dated a few here and there, but nothing serious. He was popular at Hogwarts as well, because of his assistance on the Quidditch pitch to the Gryffindor team, who was back in the day the only one who could properly challenge the Slytherin team.
Was an excellent seeker for Gryffindor back in the day, and is now the flying professor. He got the job when he was twenty one years old, and has worked at the school since. Before that he had bounced around from job to job, not really fitting in anywhere but enjoying himself nonetheless. Looks forward to teaching the next generation the finer applications of flying and instructing them all in their Quidditch games. Has a slight preference of his old house, but helps all equally.
Appearance: Just use the picture as a template, that pretty much sums it up. Don't change eye or hair color from what he looks like usually with that kind of dirty blonde look.
Personality: Is very driven and hardworking, and relies on nobody but himself most of the time. Will stand up for people if he feels they are being treated unjustly or sees any bullying. Is loyal to his friends, though he doesn't have many, and always takes a stand for what he believes to be right. Won't back down from a fight, and that has often landed him in trouble because he has a bit of a temper. When he is flying that is when he truly feels relaxed and lets go of whatever is bothering him, as something often is. It is what makes him feel alive, and hopes that some of the kids he teaches will understand that one day.
Luca strode onto the Quidditch Pitch, firebolt in hand. Soon he was taking into the air, doing loops and corkscrews, challenging himself as best he could without a partner to fly with. He missed the days when he could have played with the kids, and part of him still wishes he had tried to go pro. Imagining the empty stands filled with roaring fans, and opponents trying to knock his block off, Luca started flying through the air after picking up a quaffle from the box he had opened. Once he got used to carrying it once more, he unlocked the bludgers to make things more interesting, and even he found himself struggling to dodge them as he zipped about.
After a full hour of practicing with himself, he locked away all the balls and closed up the box, sweating from the intense exercise but happier than he'd felt in a long time. "that's what I'm supposed to be doing every day." he whispered to himself, smiling before walking off to hit the showers.
